Botswana 'survival' September

Way back |
And now it is time to go back.....
A two days drive. First Nata Lodge and than with the large truck to Joburg.
We sleep a lot. Now and then we pass an anti-foot & mouth desease fence
and suddenly we are obliged to walk through a desinfectant matrass. The
truck also drives through the desinfectant liquid (but not the punched
tire we changed 10 minutes earlier)..... We don't think it will help, but
it doesn't matter. The fence is there for years allready.
In Joburg we stay in the DriftersInn (diningroom:
).
We have a funny evening in the bar. A lot of shooters are filled. In no
time some of us are tipsy (or just plain drunk). To get an impression:
We thank Chris for the pictures and Rose for taking them. If you want to
see more of these, go to Botswana
fotoalbum (last page) of Chris's internet photoalbum.
Time to go home!
After a last view on our guides who are doing their paperwork of their
last(???) Drifters tour we leave
.
We have a direct flight to Amsterdam. When we get home we clean up a little
and relax for three days. After that we go to the Elzas where we rented
a motorboat for a week.
